My garden has a new Sheriff in town.
Wow! I bought this as I had a beech hedge that was in such a difficult place to trim, it got out of control. Beech hedge will quickly revert to trees as soon as you turn your back. These two trunks merged to form an uber-beech trunk, siamesed at 5ft high. I did manage to lop it, but I was faced with a strange wooden arch that fought off my reciprocating saw, emasculating its (and my) pride. A new shed needed the space, so this meant war. The beech trunks at 40 years old were lifting slabs. It was no longer a demure hedge but threatening to take over. With my reciprocating saw out of the fight, and both batteries dead. I bought this bad lad, whom I have lovingly named the 'Max b'stard 9000'. It did not disappoint. It needed some assembly out of the box, which was simple enough. Some oil in the tank, I used 3-in-1. I have heard that vegetable oil works well, but I prefer my chips cooked in that. Threading the chain onto the spocket and through the guard rail was a little fiddly, but easy enough. Calmer hands would prevail easily. I used my oil can to drop a little of its amber magic onto the sprocket to soak in. I'm old school, you do not have to, but like the essential things in life, it is best to be well-lubed before going in. Once fastened, tensioning the chain was simple with a couple of turns on the big nob. No, not the operator, but a dial on the chainsaw. There is a chain brake, which is engaged when you get it. A hearty pull on the brake, some power, and woah! Get behind me, Satan. Literally, get right behind this thing. Point, pull the trigger (with a dead man's button - reassuring). On contact, it has an auto power setting from 'nibble' to 'devour everything in its path'. At full chat, it was all over very quickly - story of my life. The wife was watching (supervising) and could barely look, while I got to work earning stars on my man badge. There was no vibration, smooth as a hot knife through butter, and whilst I was hanging on (wary of kickback - it didn't), I stamped my authority on this mutant beech. It was on the floor faster than a vertically challenged Italian footballer in the 6-yard box. At 5kg in weight, it has some heft but not so heavy that it's a chore. It chomped through the trunks in about three minutes flat. Some man handling the trunks, and more nom-nom from the chainsaw, they are in manageable chunks, with the wife saying "Are you finished yet?" Story of my life. If you are new to chainsaws (like me - but a keen power tools enthusiast), or fancy something in your arsenal to keep your garden in check, this is the chainsaw to get. It would not manage anything like a big tree (it would have a good try, but would probably break). It is a brilliant piece of kit, and any tree in that difficult mid-life crisis period is easy prey. The chain supplied was up to the job, no idea on longevity, but I might treat it to a more premium one, I am that enamoured. Reasonable money, very well put together, did the job with ease. In a house with a wife and two teenage daughters. I am back as head of the household and not the bald headed, tubby irrelevance and part-time taxi driver. Five stars, recommended, and the hedges that border our house have a new Sheriff in town.

Hyundai 16 inch HYC 2400E MODEL CHAIN SAW
The chain saw itself is brilliant. No problems putting it together. The chain saw blade that came with the chain saw was rubbish. I only used it for 2 hours and had to buy some more blades ( savior3 16 inch chain saw blades ) Also had to buy chain saw oil as the chain saw comes without any. After these problem have used the saw for 4/5 hours today cutting 2/3 inch logs and branches, and Ican honestly say the chain saw has performed very well. I would have given it 5 star but the chain saw blade let it down.

Nice powerful lightweight saw
Great powerful saw , I cut through 12" branches with ease , the chain tension didn't need adjusting after doing around 100 cuts on branches ranging from 4" to 12". Easy to assemble, nice weight. I've only used it for a few hours ,but so far so good. I didn't have any problems and I would highly recommend this saw

Great value
Great lightweight chain saw. So easy to use. Was sceptical being electric and never using a chainsaw before, I was surprised how light and easy to use with great cutting power. 5* 🤩

Continuous power is awesome
I didn't realise how difficult it would be to use a chainsaw to begin with, and it really is A workout with this. If you've never had such a thing, they're worth having and I'd recommend you get the relevant safety equipment too It's kinda "fun" to use but be aware that this is of course a highly dangerous product. The sharpness of the teeth could cut your hand It's incredibly well built though it is somewhat heavy. It is however powerful. It'd be nice if the cable could have a better way of tidying it, but I do like how it has a 10m cable which is sufficient in the garden and in other people's gardens when people give away free wood I find that Hyundai Power tools are really good quality, without the same marketing as Stihl, Ego, Milwaukee etc.. I'd absolutely recommend anyone who's wanting a chainsaw to get this. It's a pretty awesome, powerful, yet kinda fun tool. I understand why tree surgeons are so fit too now. Holding this for a while really takes it out of you

Joke of a chain tensioner avoid at all costs.
Do not buy this... Hands down the worst chain tensioner and side cover securing design I have ever seen absolutely unusable in terms of both fine tuning the chain tension but also at keeping itself in the position you set... Chain comes loose after every cut you make. The rest of the saw seems ok but it's absolute crap because of the chain tensioner setup. Also if you ever need to replace the bar good luck the moronic chain tensioner system is built onto the bar and there are no spares for sale with it on the bar... Absolute joke of a design not surprised there trying to sell them off cheap. It cuts fine but chain is loose after each cut. The side panel is also very loose even when tightened fully this is a very unsafe design.

Impressive
It’s a wonderful working machine, I’m impressed with the efficiency given its size . I had a mcculloch CS50s which break down and also advertised as heavy duty but the Hyundai does more. I cut down a fully grown tree . The Hyundai is much better in my opinion , easy to use , the only minor drawback , I have to keep checking the chain and adjust the tensioner around after every 7 -8 cuts. It works for me , not recommended but I’ve used vegetable oil and it work amazingly. 5 star from me. Good value for my money, robust and easy to use , perfect cut.
