We have been using Vetriscience for years and it has made a noticeable difference in my dogs teeth. She doesn't like the toothbrush, so this is a great alternative. Just add it to their food, no smell to the product and dog loves to eat. We use it every time she eats. Great choice for dental health.

Great product for controlling plaque; does not replace regular teeth brushing. My 10 yr. old OES loves it. Smells like Ranch dressing. I sprinkle lightly on kibble twice daily. I learned that using amount recommended for my dog’s weight gave him diarrhea. Adjusted and still have good plaque control and fresh breath.

Obscenely expensive but a great product. It is gr era for dogs teeth and breath.

We did not open immediately since we were still using the product we obtained from the vet. We missed the return window which was only a month. The product was much darker in color, clumpy and had a terrible smell. My pets had diarrhea within days of starting to use it. I have bought a new container from the vet which looks like the first container. I won't purchase consumables like this again.

One of our dogs actually had to go to the vet's a few days ago and when she was examining him, she said his gums looked very healthy. We'd discussed the use of a dental or periodontal support for his teeth in previous appointments and was all for the dental support I'd been using for some time. The ingredients of Perio-Support are identical to the ones in the product we are using now. I'm assuming the formula is not a patented one as the labeling is almost identical, save the logo and labeling. I've tried this on my two dogs with successful results, but my cat shunned this. There are products you can put in your animal's water, but because I have two dogs I passed. Does it work? Definitely. When I run out of my other dental support and haven't had a chance to drive to purchase more, my small dog has noticeably bad breath within a few days. The product won't remove all the plaque, but does keep it to a minimum and his gums remain healthy. Because he is an older dog and I'm leery of anesthetizing him for teeth cleaning, some sort of intervention is necessary. Both dogs don't mind the taste and didn't shun it from the start. They simply wait until we sprinkle it over the top. I did question my veterinarian about the wisdom of putting the same amount of this powder on the food of the dog weighing 75 pounds as to the one weighing less than 8. She encouraged the same amount. The product's the same, simply a different name. My veterinarian is all for this type of product and so am I. The only thing they may have thought to add was the little measuring scoop that was included with the other dental support I purchased. For consistency's sake, I'd recommend getting a measuring spoon (1 tsp).
