About the Startup Describe your product in 3 words. Exotic Hardwood Watchbands How did you come up with the idea for this product? I've grown up surrounded by the redwoods of the Santa Cruz ains. When it came to my Apple Watch adding hardwood was a natural fit. Wood is a remarkable material, it's cool to the touch but not cold like metal. It feels natural on your wrist and the smooth polish imparts an amazing feeling. Lay your hand on any fine crafted wooden good and run your hand along the surface, it's a feel that no artificial material can recreate, it just feels RIGHT. What makes your product special? These bands impart an individuality and uniqueness to a smartwatch that hasn't been seen yet. In contrast to the dozens of identically machined bands out there, wood creates truly unique pieces. What has been the best part of your startup experience? The response from customers, I've had folks email me mentioning that people have noticed the bands and the Apple Watch on their wrist. That's really cool! Seeing glowing coverage in different publications like the AppleWatchCast and Android Authority has also been really a big boost to what I'm doing.
