This hose is built for endurance and performance in custom coolant plumbing and intake systems. Silicone rubber with 4-ply reinforcement makes this hose tough, reliable, and flexible to temperatures from -60°C to +180 degrees C (-76 degrees F to +356 degrees F). Hand-crafted and quality inspected to the highest European standards. Bright red with a smooth, shiny "wipe-down" finish. One foot (12" / 33cm) length with a 6" (152mm) ID. The 4-ply reinforcement results in a working pressure rating in excess of 12 psi and a 5.5mm wall thickness (163mm / 6 7/16" OD). Use our Lined Hose Clamps (Part No. 3613-7.00) to clamp the hose over a 6" OD tube. Note: This hose is NOT formulated for use in oil or fuel plumbing applications. It will survive occasional spills and oil leaks, but it will not stand up to continuous exposure to petroleum.
